51st Munitions Maintenance Squadron Association
13th Reunion 2007


The 2007 Reunion will be held in conjunction with the Nuclear Weapons Technicians Association (NWTA) on Thursday, October 4th to Saturday, October 6th. Registration and payment must be sent to the NWTA. A registration form can be downloaded from the NWTA website www.usafnukes.com. The reunion will be held at the Holiday Inn Dayton/Fairborn (800-315-2621 or 937-426-7800). Room rate will be $89 per night. Let them know that you are with the NWTA Convention. Registration covers the Icebreaker, transportation to/from USAF Museum and the dinner. Registration costs are:

  • Members $100
  • Members Spouse/Guest $75
  • Non members $125

    Polo shirts with the 51st patch will be made for those wishing to preorder them. Shirts will only be made to fill the preorders. If you want one (or more), fill in the info on the post card that you should have received or email me. Cost is not set yet. Also in the works are decals of the 51st patch like the ones on the hard hats we all wore back then. These will be given out to the members.

    Reunion Schedule

    Thursday - October 41200 - Sign in Holiday Inn lobby
    1200 - Hospitality Room open
    1800 - Icebreaker Holiday Inn
     
    Friday - October 5Hospitality Room open all day
    0830 - Meet in front of Holiday Inn (Please have photo ID with you)
    0845 - Buss departs for USAF Museum and arrives at 0915
    0930 - Presentation of bronze NWTA Memorial Plaque in Memorial Garden.
              This plaque memorializes all USAF Nuclear Weapons Maintainers, past,
              present and future
    1030 - Tour main Galleries at leisure and/or lunch at Museum Cafe
    1215 - Board Museum busses for transportation to Presidential Gallery or design your
              own tour
    1600 - Bus leaves USAF Museum to return to Holiday Inn
     
    Saturday - October 61000 - 51st Membership meeting in Hospitality Room
    1300 - NWTA General Membership meeting in the Hospitality Room
    1600 - Hospitality Room closes but will reopen after dinner
    1800 - Dinner
     

    The 2008 Reunion will be at Vandenberg where we will celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the 51stMMS.
