Hi everyone. This is Ken Kaplan. After a bit of poking around, I have been able to obtain the materials that made up the website that Al Alvareztorres created. This was accomplished with the help of one of Al's co-workers at ARRL. As some of you may know, Al suffered a heart attack and passed away on March 26, 2003. Some time after his passing, this website was dropped by the hosting company who was not able to help with my quest. After talking with his boss Ed Hare, Ed connected me with Mike Tracy. I explained to Mike that I was hoping Al might have left some materials behind that I could use to restore the website. It turned out that Mike had a backup copy of Al's work. Mike said "he is sure Al would be happy to know that this site will live on."
As the original hosting service contract expired along with the domain name registration, I had to find another service provider and re-register the domain name. The website materials are now uploaded to the hosting provider. I look forward to your comments, suggestions, materials and bug reports to help make this a useful and interesting place to visit. I also look forward to meeting you at future reunions!
